Nate “The Mountain” Maier, Beloved Rim Scot’s Community Member And 2022 Rim Of The World High School Graduate, Remembered After Unexpected Passing
Nate Maier, affectionately known as “The Mountain,” has passed unexpectedly, leaving family, friends, and the Rim Scot’s community in deep grief.
Nate was remembered as a beloved member of the Rim Scot’s family and a 2022 graduate of Rim of the World High School.
A support effort created on Thursday, August 27, 2026, had raised $3,190 toward a $5.5K goal through 36 donations to help with funeral, memorial, and urgent family needs.
The community shared care for Nate’s mother, sister, and brother-in-law as they face this difficult time together.
Those who knew Nate continue to honor a life that held meaning within the school community and beyond.
