Pakìstan Cheek, 27-Year-Old Fort Myers Resident, Dies After Buckingham Head-On Crash That Also Left 10 People Injured
Pakìstan Cheek, a 27-year-old Fort Myers resident, died after a head-on crash Wednesday evening, August 26, 2026, on Cemetery Road just east of Dana Road in Buckingham, Florida.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 6:43 p.m. and involved a 2026 Nissan Kicks and a 2022 Chevrolet Suburban.
Investigators said the Nissan crossed the center line before striking the Suburban, and Pakìstan Cheek was pronounced dead at the scene.
Ten other people were hurt, including several with serious injuries, and five occupants of the Nissan, including children, were taken to Gulf Coast Medical Center as trauma alerts.
Pakìstan Cheek’s passing at age 27 has brought deep sorrow to family, friends, and loved ones, who will remember a life that ended far too soon.
