Shelly Wang Remembered In Pleasanton After 64-Year-Old Homeowner Was Found Dead During A Welfare Check On Jefferson Court
Pleasanton residents mourn Shelly Wang, 64, after officers found Wang dead inside a home on the 4600 block of Jefferson Court near Donlon Elementary School and Val Vista Park.
A concerned neighbor requested a welfare check around 7:16 p.m. on a quiet Wednesday evening after people had not seen or heard from the occupants for several days.
Authorities said Wang owned the home and rented a spare room to a 39-year-old tenant, who was also found dead in a separate room.
Investigators continue to review the circumstances and have reported no known motive or previous emergency calls at the address.
Police described the case as isolated and said the neighborhood faces no continuing risk.
